WWII Kukri Knife
WWII vintage Nepalese Gurkha Mark 3 Kukri fighting knife with a 12.25" heavy curved blade, 17" overall.   Hard wood handle with iron rivets.    In original leather covered wood sheath with belt loop.    Blade marked MG-44, no other visible markings on knife or sheath.
This Mark 3 model knife was standard issue for the Gurkha's during and after WWII.    The MG-44 is the manufacturer code and date of manufacture.
In very good overall condition, lightly used.     Blade is clean and sharp.
Genuine WWII military issue Kukri, not a current import.    Been in my personal collection for 30+ yers.
