    . However, it was still in use and removed from a compressor that was still running and always kept indoors. It was
    amateurly
    repaired by installing oversize screws to retain the reed valves.
    It could be properly repaired by
    TIG Welding
    the stripped screw holes, then drilling and threading new holes. It would likely prove prohibitively costly, unless someone had the required equipment themselves.
