2009 BMW R-Series

Description

BMW R-Series.  This is a beautiful black R1200RT.  Standard it has 110 HP, Electric Windshield, heated seats and grips, Cruise Control, ABS brakes, etc.  It also has a tire pressure monitor, Zumo 550 GPS, Clearwater lower lights, modulated brake light, two helmet locks, Top Box, steel braided cables, and two brand new Michelin Pilot 5 tires, Corbin seat and backrest available.   2021 July Virginia State Inspection, all service records done by BMW dealers on their schedule.  Only flaws are fuel gauge (replaced four times by BMW  but unreliable due to ethanol) and some scratches on bags, mirrors and one engine cover as shown in pix.  Great Motorcycle.  I rode it yesterday on the Blue Ridge Parkway near my house.  If you want a new one, it will cost you ,000.  Or you can buy mine for 00.  Kelly Blue Book is 50 but this motorcycle has many added features.  The top box alone costs over a thousand if you can find one.  Grab it now.  Hard to find now.  I am in my 70's after riding motorcycles since 1969.  I have owned an R1150RT and this one after many Japanese motorcycles.  I am no longer planning interstate multi-day trips.  Planning to purchase something smaller for local rides.  My loss is your gain.  This motorcycle was designed for German police on the autobahn where there is no speed limit.  Six speeds and 110 HP.  This bike handles beautifully and cruises the interstates on cruise control.
