1981 BMW R-Series

Wow what a nice example of a r65 that has just come out of storage after 14yrs.This bike was purchased in 2003 with 32k miles and was driven 3k miles from 2003 - 2007.The bike was prepped right b4 storage and re-prepped b4 start up 14 yrs later.Tank was flushed and cleaned, brand new battery,cylinders lubed,new plugs and all fluids checked.Turned the key and she fired right up.All electronics work and she runs, shifts and rides very well.The only thing i would recommend is a carb sync as i am unsure i good i got them (i feel they may be a little rich??).There is no doubt this is a great low milage bike with nice patina ,but as with any riders bike it is not perfect or a brand new bike.Bike comes with all the original equipment including the factory air pump and tool set.There is a 0 deposit due via paypal, or  Venmo within 48hrs of auction, balance will be worked out upon pick up.Good luck and ask all questions b4 auction ends not afterwards.
