1976 BMW R-Series

Very nice but not perfect 1976 BMW R90S in original paint, smoke - gray. Bike starts, runs, shifts through the gears nicely. The bike has never been a problem and has been stored inside as long as I have owned it. Cosmetically it is nice but not perfect. The tail section picture shows where someone has tried to touch up some of the paint but the areas are very small and not exceptionally noticeable. Now the good or bad: the frame and engine numbers do not match because of a factory error. The frame and engine numbers are exactly 100 numbers apart. This is why I bought the bike on ebay. The seller sold the bike with the heading of "factory error". I'm an oddity guy and I thought it made it worth more (maybe just to me). Now the bad, I lost the original paperwork that the owner gave me from 1976 that was written between the original owner and BMW of North America. SHAME ON ME! Anyway, I'm continuing to look for the paperwork. Pictures show numbers. It has a clear Ohio title in my name. No warranties expressed or implied. Any questions ask and thanks for your interest.
